Retford Baptist Church is a community of Christians

We are A place of Refreshing - a Church in the river of the Father’s blessing, we seek to drink deeply of the river ourselves and to offer the blessing to any who will come hungry for a touch of God

In 1999 we received a significant prophecy that we are to be well - a place where people can come to be refreshed, where they can draw from the fountain of God’s love.

A place to begin again - The Church is a group of different, yet wonderful people who come from a variety of backgrounds. We believe that Jesus is the Son of God, our only means of Salvation.

Anyone can have a new start simply by trusting in Jesus who has promised to give us a life that is full, satisfying and a rich experience. We demonstrate our decision to follow Jesus by being baptised

A place to grow - We are organised as a Cell Church. We recognise that God’s plan is to have a living Church - on the move. The Bible shows us that church life flows from relationship not structures. Cells capture the spirit of this and put Jesus rather than `meetings` at the heart of what we do.

Being part of a Cell helps us to grow in confidence and discover and use the gifts we have, to earth the teaching in real experiences, and to make it easy for others to come and find out who we really are

A place for everyone - We have activities and groups for everyone from the youngest to the oldest. Kairos is our weekly club for people aged 50+.

We also have a variety of activities for Children & Young People with something for everyone from toddlers to teens. Children are also encouraged to join in our worship with banners, song and dancing.
