RBC is in urgent need of a new facility to accommodate the growth we have experienced - and expect to continue over the next few years.

We currently meet in our aged and outdated Victorian buildings for Worship, Conferences, Community use, Youth & Childrens work, Kairos, etc... Already we are feeling the pressure of working in a building designed as a `preaching box` rather than for the multi-purpose use that is needed today!

We want to build a purpose built centre large enough to allow for growth. Plans are in hand  for a 310 seat sanctuary with a 80 seat overspill area, flexible enough to be used by the community - plans would include a variety of meeting rooms and a central area to `mingle`  in, accessible to all - including the disabled.

We have already acquired the adjoining bungalow to enable us to redevelop the whole site as a community centre and church. An architect has been appointed and initial planns have been drawn up.

With the new building we would be able to:-

Offer better facilities to the community

Enhance the level of care we can offer to the disabled and those with special needs

improve the environment for those attending conferences and events

accommodate growth as we move into cell church

We have already raised over £180,000 towards this project, including a staggering £70,000 on our last gift day in March.
